Millions of years ago, as today, it just wasn’t safe to be out there on your own. The work together/share together dynamic evolved into bartering where goods and services of equal value were shared.
We began to diversify as our brains evolved into higher levels of thinking. Children do this naturally. Even when 2- and 3-year old kids work together, most of them share the profits in a natural way without adult prompting. This give-and-take behavior may be more instinctual than first thought.
Kids’ might be tapping their ancient brains to promote socialization that enhance their survival. Watch your kids and ask yourself, “How did they learn that?”
