MIKE ROWE ROCKS

I was watching This Old House yesterday and Mike Rowe of Dirty Jobs was on and I learned about his HUGE program called Mike Rowe Works.  His foundation called Mike Rowe Works Foundation which has given rise to the Universal Technical Institute whose goal it is to give young people an opportunity to get seriously good training in the trades.

The program has a Work Ethic Scholarship Program.  He points out that we're "Profoundly Disconnected".  Here's some text from the site.
