It’s very annoying and exhausting to listen to their endless stream of ideas and opinions. There’s very little “back-and-forth”. They’re “pressured” to keep talking and seem completely uninterested in anything you have to say. These kids and adults often suffer socially as others avoid them.
Many struggle with "gatekeeping". They have no gates or the gates they have are broken. Comments just "spill out" and oftentimes, get them into trouble on the job and at home, too.
An evaluation will help determine the source of their difficulties. Interventions are necessary for healthy social relationships and to help them adjust to the demands of their world.
