For those parents whose kids miss out on special education services such as Resource Specialist and Special Day time, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Behavior Therapy and whatever other services they receive through an IEP because the service provider is absent...give the principal a letter requesting compensatory education.
Always ask your child if a teacher was absent and find out their name. Keep a log. Ask for compensatory services. It's your right. Your children deserve them.
