Body temperature
Did you know that your body temperature has to drop a half of a degree in order for your brain to trigger its sleep mechanisms? If you wear jammies to bed, it makes it difficult to achieve the temperature necessary to trigger sleep.

If you sleep naked, you also wake up feeling crisp and robust and don't need to disrobe. It's out of the bed and into the shower.
Arm pits and the groin area need circulation. In particular, if your "nether-yay-ya" doesn't get some air, bacteria can breed and make you vulnerable to a yeast infection.
Even if you're not completely secure about your body, sleeping in a skin-to-skin arrangement, promotes intimacy. There's something about the vulnerability of being naked that tells your partner that there's trust between you.
You'll drop a dress size
Because your body will need to work harder to keep you warm during the night, your metabolism has to ramp up. It uses calories and you lose weight while you sleep. What's not to love about that?
No strangling collars, no itchy tags, jammies riding up, and nightshirts trying to escape over your head.
It's unclear as to "why" people look better the day after they've slept without encumbrances. Perhaps it's because sleeping naked helps the skin to shed dead cells and hair, replenishes your body's moisturizing oils, improves cleanliness and, basically, because you're getting a better night's sleep.
There will come a time when the kids can manage on their own and you can lock your bedroom door. Otherwise, you'll have to wait until they move out, completely out!
Just do the best you can until then. TTFN, Claudia
