Your firstborn benefits from being the center of attention. They enjoy 3000 more hours of quality time than the next sibling will get. No wonder they’re leaders. But this success comes with a price.
They lean toward Type A personalities. Firstborns don’t cut themselves slack, are afraid, aren’t risk takers and have more responsibility at home. They need to learn it’s OK to fail.
Now look at your last born. They’re generally not your strongest or brightest child, so they develop natural charm, a social personality and agreeableness that helps them get attention. They are free-spirited and unconventional. But, they may not feel important.
Last borns might become depend adults. Not prepared for the world.
Do online research and see if the birth order profiles “match” your kids. If so, learn how to offset potential problems.
