Considering the families into which we were born, our natural talent, our own progress, and luck, don’t forget luck, how are you doing? Have your wishes been fulfilled? What about your expectations of life? Are your needs being met?
Satisfaction seems to be the base over which episodes of happiness occur.
Happiness is an uptick in satisfaction. It’s unrealistic to be happy most of the time.
Take stock of “where” you are and make a plan to increase your level of happiness. Steady, small steps result in real progress.
What you learn about improving your own satisfaction will help you teach the kids to achieve happiness on their own. When you are satisfied with your life, your kids will feel more secure and know that an increased level of happiness is possible.
