Your new relationship is toodling right along and then, bam! You’ve been dumped. Didn’t see that coming, did ya’? You’re in good company.
At the beginning of a relationship, you can’t tell if it’s the real deal or doomed from the start.
Apparently, from the moment you meet the person face-to-face and before you become sexually intimate, you start asking yourself, “Where is this going?” “How much do I like this person?”
It’s around that time where the short-term and the long-term relationships start down different paths. The timeline for this “go-no go” decision is typically weeks or months.
Now that you know when this decision is made, you’ll be able to adjust your conduct accordingly.
If you jump “all in”, your partner may not be at the same place as you are and the timing may cause a premature break-up and unnecessary heart break.
