Ha! It appears that the only precedent that was set was for irrationality. Superintendent Lynch went on to accuse that the family's law firm "charged fees that were beyond reason". My special education attorney colleagues tell me that the district's attorneys charged upwards of $400,000 and the family's law firm charged upwards of $500,000.
