Don’t know how to get out of that rut? Practice some of these strategies:
- Re-evaluate your goals. Were they too ambitious?
- Did you set yourself up for failure?
- Where did you go wrong?
Make a plan for avoiding these traps next time by taking control.
Plan the project better with more realistic time frames. If you’re ahead at the end of the day, all the better.
Frustrated and angry? See the energy as a sure sign that you really care about what you’re doing. Good for you.
Recognize frustration as a force for productivity.
Reduce the stress that the adrenaline is causing by being physically active and reward yourself for seeing the situation for what it is and taking action to get yourself back on track. Setbacks don’t have to set you up for failure.
Pay attention to yourself as you work through projects. Critique your performance and watch yourself improve.
