As if the vaping news isn’t bad enough, we now know that when teens vape high amounts of nicotine, they end up vaping and smoking more in the future.
When kids moved from low to medium to high amounts of nicotine, they were twice as likely, at each step, to smoke tobacco products more frequently.
As for their increase in vaping, they were vaping much more than they were smoking.
That “black box” warning that comes with e-cigarettes is useless.
Vaping leads to more frequent vaping and kids taking more puffs each time they vaped. It also leads to smoking more tobacco products.
Every aspect of vaping is unhealthy and potentially fatal for kids and teens.
Nicotine use in kids leads to problems with learning, attention, impulse control and addiction.
Make sure your kids know that, in your family, there is a zero-tolerance policy for both vaping and smoking.
