Use the Health App on your phone or key in the data under ICE which stands for “In Case of Emergency”.
Many teenagers absolutely will not wear a medical alert bracelet, but they will never be without their cell phones.
Help all family members to know how to access this information on everyone’s phones in the event of an emergency.
Don’t expect your teenagers or adult children to know your health issues and medications.
If a family member has cognitive or speech problems, go to the closest police station and give them a printed sheet with the name of the family member, their condition and your contact information. If a 9-1-1 call comes in from your home, the police will know just what to do. You can't live with the consequences.
