I've mentioned the extensive developmental history that I asked the parents in my practice to complete when I performed an assessment.
Over the years, I've had several families ask me for more copies. Why? Because when Mom and Dad (capital letters intended) sat down together and spent the time talking about just one child, "lights bulbs" came on and they came to a greater understanding of their child.
Once they completed the developmental history, we talked about the information that interested me the most. I had questions about their answers.
