Good morning! As we moved through the show, I made notes about the resources and links I thought you could use, so here they are...
Books and stuff:
iGen by Jean Twenge. The impact of being a super-connected teen and young adult. As far as I'm concerned, it's a "must read". Mine is on its way!
Grit by Angela Lee Duckworth is the book and her TedTalk is here!
Yondr-this is the lockable pouch to keep your phone quiet.
Website resources:
Here's the article I wrote on Schizotypal Personality Disorder that I talked about in terms of mass casualty events and why we are destined to have more...many more.
Wait Until 8...This is the movement I talked about that recommends that you wait until 8th grade to give your kid a smart phone. Of course, you can get them a basic phone without a data plan until then because it makes life so much more convenient.
Remember, if you want to ask a question, go to drclaudia.net and click the "Ask Me" button and let me know what's on your mind. You can also call 833-400-5050 and leave a message. You don't absolutely, positively have to call during the show! You can leave a message.
See you next Sunday!
