Looking for the most unusual Christmas gift for your American history buff/fanatic? Why not give him/her George Washington's cologne? Yes, it's the original formula and it's made by Caswell-Massey of England, of course.
Learn all about it here.
Pending approval from his doctor, I talked about acupuncture, therapeutic massage, chiropractic, and radio frequency ablation which is a minimally invasive procedure. Talk with your doctor about it.
As well, I addressed the value of Iyengar yoga which focuses on spinal alignment.

You're All Talk. Your Tuned Out Kids
The boys are healthy, curious, and "busy". I recommended using a "talking stick" like the one featured above.
Talking sticks were used in tribal council meetings, originally, by five tribes in upstate New York. The person holding the stick speaks and everyone listens attentively.
The one above is the one my family used. I had it refurbished by a Cherokee artist. She used a photo of the one we had growing up and replaced the worn "bits".
I recommended that the Dad and his boys use a dowel, strips of leather, a crystal and some beads to make their own. More meaningful that way.
As for the boys who are listening and not speaking, I suggested that they get some Bison Beanie Babies like Roan, shown above. Having a "Roan in the hand" will give them a way to release their energy.
I have several Roans and this one sits on my desk and observes me as I work. Sometimes he sits on my shoulder if my husband comes in and puts him on my shoulder or head...we're just goofy like that.
I also mentioned that the NYC-based eyeglass company, Warby Parker, offers nearly all of their glasses with blue-tinted lenses.
Want some fun cookie cutters like look like your dog or cat's face? Here they are! They're on Etsy at Bakers Street Cutters and they're super fun!
I almost forgot! You can buy York Peppermint Patty Hot Chocolate! Apparently, it's super great with Smirnoff Peppermint Twist vodka...for adults only, of course!
Have a great week. See you on the radio!
