At this point, there is no "pap" smear for oral cancers, according to the American Dental Association.
On the show, I outlined how important it is to have a landline if you have a child with disabilities. If they have mild disabilities (ADHD, learning problems, dyslexia), you need to label your address directly onto your phone and have a chart right above the phone that gives them the sequence (with pictures if necessary) about how to handle the situation. Practice, practice, practice.
You do not want your child to be traumatized by a lack of preparation. It can be a life-altering situation.
