A man wrote in who committed a crime, although it was a logical crime to benefit his brother. He pretended to be his brother to take the driver's license driving test because his brother has crippling anxiety and kept failing it.
I gave him some ideas about how to make restitution although there were no "direct" victims.
I recommended that one of the things he should do is to make "peace offerings" in the form of truly meaningful charitable contributions. During the holidays, when my husband and I are invited to events, we make a contribution to International SPCA Military Dogs program. Think about how you can help this holiday season.
