A concerned family member reached out regarding a teen whose behavior has been erratic and aggressive for years. I suggested that the girl may be experiencing pediatric bipolar disorder or polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). PCOS can be ruled in or out and treated more quickly than bipolar disorder, so I'd start there. I wrote a blog post about the relationship between autism and PCOS. PCOS plays a primary role in infertility. Know what you're dealing with so you can develop an effective plan.

A Momma reached out because the family is moving and she's concerned that she's missed out on opportunities to ease her 8-year old daughter's transition to the new home and school.
